Vision & Mission
Vision
Driven by the Greatest Commandment, we are dedicated to the Great Commission, thus developing a Glorious Church – Matthew 22: 37-40; Matthew 28:19-20; Ephesians 4:11-13.
Mission
FNT is a church whose heart and arms are opened to the lost and dying people of the world. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are calling the sinners, the broken-hearted, the sick, and the bound to freedom and new life by the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Luke 4:18). We endeavor to see FNT as a perfect blend of races and cultures, worshipping and serving our Lord in Pentecostal power and life.
We do not exist to conform to the religious mood of our culture, to be socially acceptable, to occupy property, or to perform mere religious duties. We are a committed assembly who fears the Lord. Only as we take God seriously, will we take our marriages, our families, and our spirituality seriously.
Our mission is to honor and glorify God by the growth of our members through fellowship, discipleship, worship, ministry, and evangelism (Acts 2: 42-47).
God’s purpose for the Church is two-fold: the work “in” the Church and the work “of” the Church.
Two-Fold Purpose
Work IN the ChurchThe work “in” the church is to equip the members of FNT for the work of the ministry ‘Work of the Church’ (Ephesians 3:9; 4:10-13) through worship, the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, missions, and fellowship among believers. It is to strengthen fellow believers and their relationship with God.
The Church is not the mission field. The Church is not the normal place for sinners to be saved. The work in the Church involves fellowship among believers and spiritual growth; it is the place where we are equipped to do the work of the ministry. |
Work OF the ChurchThe work “of” the church is to equip the members of FNT to be a light in this world through missions, local outreaches, and encouragement to live their daily lives among the lost as an example of the grace of God.
We are committed to live as a united body so that “as He is, so are we in this world” (1 John 4:17). We believe that through this united body, God will manifest His presence to our world. We will take the gospel of Jesus Christ into all the world, that men may be reconciled to God. We dare to go into all the world to make disciples of all men in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! |
