I complained to God. I do have complaints. And I have questions. I was drowning, in depression, due to the horrific attacks upon the ministry. The enemies of grace were everywhere. I was cut off from every lifeline. So I prayed, like the Bible teaches me to. But I found no relief. He was giving me victory on every side, but there was no relief within. Waves of darkness and despair were drowning me. I needed His presence. The Lord took me on a journey through His Word. He graciously revealed to me His benevolent invitation to praise Him, and how my praise affects Him. This changed me forever.
I will take you through all the scriptures the Lord showed me. I will explain to you, in context, what each scripture is telling us about God’s response to our praise. I assure you, what you are about to learn will change everything about your life. My trials were for your benefit. I want so much to share the spoils of what I took from the enemy.

Nothing has caused more destruction, horror, war, death, and brutality than religion. Religious barbarianism has devastated the planet by the conflict of men who are adamant about reproducing God in their own image and demand their idea of God is the only correct one. Sadly, this brutality is not only seen between rival religious groups but also within the same faith by those beasts who have no regard for God or His glory, only their own! Their own idea of glory justifies the slaughter of brothers by brothers and sisters by sisters, all in the name of God.
This abuse has run rampant in the house of God, but be sure it is not the Spirit of our Lord! Totalitarian rulers with convictions boldly serve as God’s holy emissaries, demolishing multitudes and seeking to rob them of the liberty that abounds through Christ! These totalitarian rulers have wielded two of the most powerful weapons known to man: the Bible and God, in an effort to imprison men in their fear so they might manipulate men for their advantage! The result: multitudes have left the church and are not coming back. “There is no cause for a man seeking Christ to be that wrecked. No justification for it whatsoever.”

Believers can be carnal and Satan is counting on it. Satan is counting on us to kill one another with the letter of God’s Word in order to exact just condemnation upon the sinners. Feverishly, Satan is working through gossipers, slanderers, brawlers, and evil men to cause division, hate, fear, and suspicion in the Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit will never divide His Body or bring condemnation against His Saints. Whenever this happens it is always Satan.
Would you like to see the devil’s strongholds crumble in the world in which you live? Would you like to see the arguments of smart men dumbfounded by the power of God in your life? Would you like to see Jesus bring every thought captive before Him? Would you like to see the arrogant and intellectual elites brought low before the supernatural demonstrations of God in your life?
We do not have to play by Satan’s rules. We do not have to be carnal and fall into his strategies. We can be mighty through God. We can arm ourselves with spiritual weapons that will devastate the enemy strategies. Through us, Jesus can continue to defame and humiliate Satan. The weapons of our warfare are spiritual and not carnal. The motive is love and not hate. The method is sacrifice and not destruction!

By human measurements, religion has set standards regarding spiritual status and significance which most people sitting in our congregations will never attain. One of those measurements is that a Man of God must be in full-time ministry, such as a pastor or evangelist. Such a standard is disastrous and discouraging because most believers will never be called to an office in the Body of Christ. Most Christians will live their entire lives having never raised the dead. Most will never walk on water. Most will never speak to a large crowd of people. Most will never see thousands of people come to Christ as a result of their preaching ministry. However, anybody can do the things that please God: Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, ministering to the needy, and preaching the gospel to the poor. What an impact. You don’t need the elaborate, you need the common.
