What a privilege we have as the church of the living God, the redeemed, the hands and feet of Jesus, to be called laborers in the hour we live. We should daily give thanks and praise for the sacrifice that JESUS made on our behalf. This sacrifice was the ultimate expression of God’s love, so wonderfully expressed by sending His son Jesus to die on the cross for our sin (Roman 5:8). The wages of sin is death and Jesus went to His death and then rose and ascended back to His Father so all who would believe could have abundant life and life eternal. In Jesus we have received the love of God, the grace of God, the forgiveness of God and a sanctified new life that only He can provide. Hallelujah!!!

GOD’S LOVE IS NON-JUDGMENTAL

Remember God’s goal in sending his Son from heaven to earth was not to condemn us, or to show us how bad we are, or how unworthy we are. but to show us how much He loves us. Jesus didn’t come to rebuke us, but to rescue us. He didn’t come to criticize us, but to cleanse us. He didn’t come to punish us, but to pardon us. He didn’t come to destroy us – He came to deliver us. Church lets praise Him!!

However, this does not mean that God is not a God of judgment. For there is a huge difference between recognizing right and wrong and being judgmental. There is a difference between judging the unrepentant sinner and being judgmental. Being judgmental means that one has a critical spirit that only looks for the bad in people and then is quick to condemn them when it is found. God on the other hand will judge man’s sin and even sentence all to hell, but only as a last resort if we refuse to believe in Jesus and the sacrifice He made.

Fellow laborers may we never forget the Gospel is good news not bad news! What a time we live in where God is causing everyone in the world to be shaken. God’s wrath comes to judge sin, but His greatest desire is that all would be saved from His wrath through Jesus Christ. This is good news!!
